This Mad Science Mix-up camp is packed with STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) activities.  A balance of learning and fun with interactive hands-on events ensures that each camper’s imagination is sparked.  Energetic instructors accelerate the learning process and fascinate children. Please remember to pack a lunch for your little camper.

Summer Fun Camp

Summer Fun Camp  (Ages 6–12 years old)
Looking for a seriously good time this summer? Beat the boredom and join us for Summer Fun & Games Camp! From weekly themed activities and crafts to Wii Tournaments and karaoke, each camp is designed for non-stop fun. To cool-off, kids will enjoy daily swims in the Willows Pool. End-of-the-week celebrations will be held each Friday with themed activities and a party – Summerlin-style!

Sports and Games Camp

Sports & Games Camp (Ages 6 –12 years old)
Whether you’re a sports enthusiast or simply like a good, old-fashioned game of tag, this camp is for you! Kids will learn fundamentals of traditional sports like soccer and basketball, as well as participate in the “classics” – Red Rover, Parachute Golf, and the Hula-Hoop Pass – just to name a few! Each afternoon, cool-off with a swim in the Willows Pool. On Fridays, campers will have some serious fun with a special end-of-the-week themed activity and party. So get movin’ and don’t miss out on the good times!

“Aladdin” the Musical Summer Camp
Casting actors, singers and dancers for “Aladdin” the Musical! Aladdin is sure to send audiences on a musical adventure filled with romance mayhem and the power of love.  Come and be a part of the cast ensemble during this two-week camp.  No experience is necessary and spots are available for ages five and older.  Campers will rehearse daily for two weeks with live performances on June 23 and 24.  Costumes are provided.

Mandarin Chinese for Kids Workshop

Decorate My Cake Workshops: Creative Cookie Design
This class will provide students with a collection of skills and ideas for mastering the art of creating impressive cookies, perfect for any kind of entertaining. In this hands-on class, students will be taught techniques that can be transformed into a variety of shapes and patterns that will turn plain cookies into pieces of art. Students will be provided cookies to create their own masterpieces. Also included are take home containers, tips, tricks, and recipes from the class.

This hands-on class will provide students with the opportunity to decorate their own cupcakes using a variety of fondant decorating applications and various cutting tools. Learn to create unusual cupcakes that are visually beautiful, delicious to eat and so easy to make! Discover how to make fondant toppers that are evenly sized for consistency and uniformity when presenting large quantities for any event. Boxes will be provided at the class so students can take their creations home after the class. Also included are tips, tricks, and recipes from the class.

Create the perfect buttercream swirl for your cupcakes! Master expert piping techniques using special decorating attachments for a variety of unique effects. Build your own unique creations with quick and easy tricks used by professional cake designers. Cupcakes, take home boxes, supplies, tips and recipes are included in the class.

Decorate My Cake Workshops: Advanced Fondant Techniques
Fondant has become the industry standard for decorating cakes, cupcakes and cookies. Learn how fondant becomes a working canvas to build a variety of fondant decorations using various cutting tools for quick applications. Learn to make fondant impressions to create dimension. This hands-on class includes a brief demonstration of how to work with fondant followed by each student creating their very own edible fondant decorations. Students will learn how to hand roll their own flowers, bumblebees, bows and how to use cutters for quick applications. All supplies included.

Learn the secrets of decorating magnificent cakes with easy techniques that are beautiful and unique. In this hands-on class, discover the simple tools that you can use to craft your own unique creations for any occasion. Topics covered will be prepping cakes for decorating, how to evenly apply buttercream to your cake, and using piping bags for quick and easy decorating. Each student will receive their own cake to decorate. Boxes will be provided for students to take their creations home after class.  Also included are tips, tricks, and classic cake recipes from the class.

Each student will receive their own cake to decorate. Boxes will be provided for students to take their creations home after class.
